Mackpower was established to drive change through technology and innovation. This will enable the Rewiring of the Nation program to be built on time, on budget and to the required standards.
It was founded with the purpose of nation building in mind. Its legacy will be one of not accepting the status quo, instead driving the leading edge of technology and performance.
The constraints are enormous. Mackpower exists at the nexus of first class people, best in class productivity, digital technology, innovation and to challenge existing norms.

The Founder
Mark Mackay saw the need for Mackpower as an enabler of Australia's decarbonisation program and strives to achieve Australia's ambitious reduction targets.
Mark has spent decades building and leading infrastructure businesses. Driving productivity, pushing the boundaries of technology as an enabler on multi billion dollar projects. These valuable lessons learnt are leveraged into the power market in a practical way that enables success for Governments, Transmission Network Service Providers (TNSP), Developers, Constructors, Investors and most importantly, end consumers.
That end consumer is all of us. The decisions we take today will have a generational consequence on energy security and cost.
The grid build out in Australia is unparalleled in scale, constrained by time and resources, and it needs to be in safe hands.

Mackpower has been engaging the customer market including government, transmission network service providers, generators, developers and investors to understand the problem statement and the burning issues. The business has spent time engaging with all levels of the supply chain to identify delivery capability, technology, adjacent industries and training providers.
