MackPower is a Queensland-based EPC consultancy and self-perform contractor, delivering utility-scale solar PV, hybrid, and wind projects for Australia's energy transition.
Australia's renewable build-out demands more than good intentions — it demands EPC and Project Management capability that can hold a program to budget, time, and quality under real construction pressure. MackPower brings the capability: we operate as an EPC consultancy for owners and sponsors who need trusted delivery oversight, and as a self-deliver EPC contractor for projects that need us in the field, hands on the work.
The Founder
Mark Mackay saw the need for Mackpower as an enabler of Australia's decarbonisation program and strives to achieve Australia's ambitious reduction targets.
Mark has spent decades building and leading infrastructure businesses. Driving productivity, pushing the boundaries of technology as an enabler on multi billion dollar projects. These valuable lessons learnt are leveraged into the energy construction landscape in a practical way that enables success for Project owners, Government clients and Contractors.
MackPower undertakes full lifecycle delivery from engineering through construction to commissioning — across utility-scale solar PV, hybrid (solar + BESS), and wind projects. We self-perform where it counts and partner with Australia and New Zealand's leading specialty firms where it sharpens the outcome.
